BVVY Terms of Use

By accessing this site and downloading the application you accept these terms
1. Acceptance of Terms
You must accept these Terms of Use ("Terms") before you can create an account or sign in to BVVY. They are a binding agreement between you and [BVVY LLC] ("BVVY", "we", "us") and cover the BVVY mobile app and the website at bvvyllc.org (together, the "Services").
By tapping to agree, creating an account or using the Services, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. Eligibility and Account Rules
You must be at least [13] years old to use BVVY. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian.
• Give accurate information when you register and keep it up to date.
• Keep your login details secure. You are responsible for all activity on your account.
• Create only one account, for yourself. Do not impersonate another person or organisation.
• Tell us straight away at kariano@bvvy.org if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
• Do not create a new account if we have removed you from the Services.
3. User Conduct
You agree to use BVVY lawfully and to treat other users with respect. You must not:
• Harass, bully, threaten, stalk or intimidate anyone
• Use the Services for any illegal purpose
• Hack, disrupt, overload or misuse any part of the Services or its systems
• Collect other users' data or contact them for spam or unwanted promotion
• Use bots, scripts or automated tools to access the Services
• Try to get around a block, suspension or ban
4. Prohibited Content
You must not post, upload or share any of the following on BVVY:
• Harassment, bullying or abuse aimed at any person or group
• Hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or nationality
• Threats, incitement to violence or content that glorifies violence
• Sexually explicit or pornographic content
• Any content that sexualises or endangers minors
• Content that promotes self harm, illegal drugs, weapons or other illegal activity
• Spam, scams, misleading content or impersonation
• Another person's private information shared without their consent
• Content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights
• Malware or links to harmful sites
5. Content Moderation
BVVY filters, reviews and removes objectionable content. We use automated filters to detect prohibited content and our moderation team reviews reported content and accounts.
We may remove or restrict any content that breaks these Terms at any time and without notice. We are not required to review all content before it is posted, and content posted by users does not represent the views of BVVY.
6. Reporting and Blocking
Every user can report objectionable content and block abusive users from inside the app.
• Report. Use the Report option on any post, comment or profile to flag it to our moderation team.
• Block. Use the Block option on any user. Their content is removed from your feed immediately, they can no longer interact with you, and our moderation team is notified.
• Contact. You can also report a problem by email at kariano@bvvy.org.
7. Zero Tolerance Policy
BVVY has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Users must not post harassment, hate speech, threats, explicit content, spam or any other prohibited material.
We act on every report of objectionable content within 24 hours by removing the content and ejecting the user who posted it from the Services.
8. Suspension and Termination
If you break these Terms, we may remove your content, suspend your account or permanently terminate your access, without prior notice.
• Serious violations, including any content that endangers minors, threats of violence and repeated abuse, lead to immediate permanent removal.
• We may report illegal content or behaviour to law enforcement.
• If you believe we removed your content or account by mistake, email kariano@bvvy.org and we will review the decision.
• You can stop using BVVY and delete your account at any time.
9. Intellectual Property
Your content. You keep ownership of the content you post. By posting it, you give BVVY a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty free licence to host, store, display, reproduce and distribute it for the purpose of operating and promoting the Services. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where the content has been shared by others or must be kept by law.
You confirm that you own the content you post or have the right to share it, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
BVVY content. The BVVY name, logo, design, software and all text, images and materials we provide are owned by BVVY or used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, modify or distribute them without our written consent.
Copyright complaints. If you believe content on BVVY infringes your copyright, email kariano@bvvy.org with a description of the work, the location of the content and your contact details. We will review and remove infringing content.
10. Account Deletion
You can permanently delete your account at any time in the app under Settings, then Delete Account. Deletion removes your profile and content and cannot be undone. Our Privacy Policy explains how and when your data is erased.
11. Third Party Links
The Services may contain links to third party websites or services. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
12. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors, and we are not responsible for content posted by users.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, BVVY is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages that result from using or being unable to use the Services. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under law that cannot be waived.
13. Apple App Store Terms
If you downloaded BVVY from the Apple App Store, the following also applies.
• These Terms are between you and BVVY only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
• Your licence to use the app is limited to Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store usage rules.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
• If the app fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price, if any. Apple has no other warranty obligation.
• BVVY, not Apple, is responsible for any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal compliance and intellectual property claims.
• You confirm that you are not located in a country under a US government embargo and are not on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Idaho, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The new version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. If the changes are significant, we will ask you to accept the updated Terms in the app.
